What's Inside?

Praesidium Standards Trends
We've reviewed the scores of almost 3,000 KYS!™ assessments according to our 23 standards. The number of clients, variety of industries, and depth of data collected make KYS! the largest and most comprehensive benchmarking of consumer protection practices of its kind. In 2022, Praesidium supported 52 organizations through the accreditation process from start to finish and has identified several trends that may impact the overall success of these organizations in creating a safe environment. See where organizations like yours typically excel and where they continue to struggle.

Incidents, Verdicts & Claims
We analyzed Praesidium’s internal Helpline incidents, reviewed over 1,100 external incidents and verdicts, and researched offender and victim characteristics across all datasets and the factors that play a role in incidents of abuse. Learn what we found to be the highest risk locations for potential incidents, what industries lead to the litigation the most and least often, how negligence can play a major role in risks, the age and gender breakdowns of victims and abusers the cases we studied, and more.

Benchmarking Analysis
We conduct ongoing benchmarking analyses of relevant data in the abuse prevention space. From these analyses, we have found notable increases in the percentage of organizations analyzed that are meeting specific standards. Staying informed on these trends is essential for maintaining momentum in organizational initiatives to protect consumers. FAQs
Today, the world moves extremely fast. The interest level of filtering through pages of information to find out if a company or product is a good fit is waning quickly. If you don't answer the right kind of questions when someone visits your website, you will be turning away a number of potential clients.
As it turns out, the best way to be show up in search results through proper SEO is to focus on how your prospective clients want to interact online, and creating educational and authoritative content that solves their problems. With a touch of on-page SEO optimizing each page for a single use, you will see tremendous results.
If your website isn't focused on UX (User Experience), it is bound to fail. UX is more than just design; it is knowing your customer and improving their satisfaction through utility, ease of use, and interaction with your product and website. Through the use of growth driven design, you can analyze exactly how your user is interacting with your website and design it accordingly.
The smallest issues with your website can easily cause a loss in traffic or customer conversion. Also, using a faulty open-source platform like the popular blogging/CMS options today comes with extreme security risks, compatibility issues with plugins and software versions, and more headaches than developers are willing to admit. Luckily, we use HubSpot - one of the most powerful, secure, and easy to edit platforms out there :)
